Hot sun + brown skin, sandals + bright toenail polish, busy days + happy customers.  

Oh, yeah.  And yarn.  Lots more yarn.

Every day this week, I'll be posting pictures of new yarn, patterns, notions and treats for your viewing pleasure.  Packages and parcels are showing up every day--I'm heading to the post office in about a half hour where I expect to be loaded down with several more: we're getting ready for our peak season.  (I'm also adding  the treasures of the season to the new and improved website this week for your [veryverysoonipromisesoon] shopping pleasure.)

First up?  A restock of Malabrigo Lace.  Ahem.  A huge restock of Malabrigo Lace.

Knitting Blues (The Good Kind)

I've just finished a whack of knitting (a shawl, a cowl and two scarves) and spinning (three 2-ply skeins, one singles and on the brink of plying another), but they're all blocking or waiting for me to weave in ends so I can block, post photos and Ravel.

So, while I'm waiting for paint knits to dry, I'd like to share some of the fresh, fibery things that have been inspiring me this week.

It's a small start (what with their 90 colors and all), but it's a darn good start.

p.s. 18 colors of Sock (which, hello! is like, more than half!) are shipping Monday.  I've created a monster.  A lovely, buttery-soft, kettle-dyed monster.
