Saturdays, January 10th & 17th, 1—3 p.m.
Hats are a fabulous way to try out new techniques. With this one, you’ll learn how to knit in the round and use a cable needle to create a hat with plenty of style.
Tuesdays, January 20th & 27th, 11 a.m.—1 p.m.
Designed specifically for Inish Knits, these wooly mitts feature a single cable centered down the hand. This class will teach you to knit in the round on double pointed needles and to use a cable needle.
Thursdays, January 29th & February 5th, 6—8 p.m.
Using just two different yarns (one solid and one self-striping), create a beautiful Fair Isle tam using traditional knitting techniques. You’ll learn to knit with both hands (incorporating both English and Continental methods of knitting), corrugated ribbing and how to properly “strand” your knitting. Deceptively simple, this is a not-too-challenging project for those looking to add a few knitting tools to their belt.
